These soft pastels are handmade by Cooperative des Couleurs™, located in a former ochre factory in Provence.

The pastels are made from mineral and plant pigments local to the area — Patine earth, light yellow ochre, yellow ochre, havana ochre, red ochre, brown ochre, Provence indigo, white, and black.
